Well it has today in my house, I got my copy of the tv listings for over the festive season.

I am going to have to use Micra-speak to describe it, basically as usual at Christmas, the tv selection is shiny and bright.

We have Miracle on 34th St, (again), Santa Claus (again) Casper (again) oooooh and the biggie...... The Great Escape (yet again, again)

On the good side 'Gone with the Wind' is on while I wait for the turkey to burn and yeyyy Finding Nemo and Shrek 2 to keep the kids happy while I get fat and merry, ooo then Eastenders misery which is always good for a drunken giggle and Doctor Who Christmas Special....then depending what mood I'm in Motorcycle Diaries or Betty Blue on DVD lol....doubt I'll actually sit down and watch anything too busy trailing around the village with the kids visiting other insane people who thought it was a good idea to have christmas 'just me and the kids' Well thats Christmas Day sorted....whats next ? Boxing Day we're going Dog racing in Walthamstow

Port to go in the Brandy when I'm feeling a bit off colour or cold lol
Baileys to go in the Brandy when I get fed up with rum, change is as good as a rest lol
Vodka cause I do love a Bloody Mary while I am preparing the veggies lol
I also went mad and got OH 2 cases of cider lol
I also got 12 bottles of wine lol but I think at least 3 will be pressies lol

Yes Christmas is coming and Nelly is getting............................. lol

Whats a Yates Blob?

Christmas is nearly here in our house, or it would be if i ever find time to put the tree up lol. Got all the pressies, just need to wrap them up. i know its nearly Christmas because there's about a million selection boxes in my dning room, all waiting to be wrapped up for my hubby's little under 10's footie team. Its their Christmas party on saturday, how unfortunate I won't be ablt to make it cos i'll be working a the match. lol.
Then Saturday its the Ladbrokes P*** Up, oops sorry i meant Christmas meal. All off to Frankie & Benny's, then 10 pin bowling (those of us who can still see to bowl, that is).
Radio WM is playing Crimbo songs now, I've put me tree up at work and got cards stuck all over the windows.
Loads of good stuff on the telly for Christmas, thank god for Sky+ cos i always forget stuff or they clash with each other. Its not the same without a proper Top of The Pops though is it?

It's a Blended Wine with Grape Brandy. 17.5%
You have it with hot water and sugar and lemon, same as a toddy, very nice and very strong lol loverly mmmmmmmmmm

The one in Manchester was full of people from all walks of life, an education in drinking and life it was for sure

They closed the one in West Brom down ages ago, although the one in Walsall is still going strong. Wonder if they still do that Australian White? It was a lovely drink that was (so i'm led to believe lol!) And never mind, West Broms got a Wetherspoons, more spit than sawdust, full of scrobos from all walks of life. I go in there for a sweet sherry sometimes pmsl.

Im hurt now sob sob. I do so wish I could finish work early today so I could put me pinny on and rustle up a wholesome dinner, then clean the house from top to bottom and have another hot meal waiting for my better half when he turns up at 11pm from football. After all, its not like I have anything else to do all day is it? And I do so think that as a wifey I should take my family responsibilites seriously. I may give up work soon so I can be there full time to look after my family and do the recycling.

Just a minute, is that a pig just flew past my window or has the price of bacon just gone up......
