Yoga, you could try that and it is relaxing albeit similar to the x box thingy.
The male thing, cannot say more than that because it would be in the stags pants.
    Excercising as it is relaxing.
    Listening to classical music

Get rid of the vodka mate!!!!!!!!!!!!

and as Nat says, exercise is good. Go out for a run for 1/2 hr every night.

Firstly forget the drink, then drag your sorry ass away from the Xbox as that will add to your stress. Then a hot bath followed by soft music in a dimly lit room.
        Works for me everytime.

        Best wishes,
        Hod..Liam..

My advice is to 'Not give a fK' about things.

You think may think its daft, but I was running a company doing the jobs of about half a dozen people while the MD spent his day on Ebay buying vintage cars.

I worked unpaid overtime, always stressing about getting work out of the door, waking up in the morning thinking what disasters were going to happen that day.
I could never relax on holiday because of this, and it was affecting my health badly.
I smoked heavily and drank, I went straight from work to the pub OTR every night without fail.

So I left and went to work somewhere else and just did what i had to do then went home.
at 5pm i went home, if stuff wasnt done, tought Sh.t.
If things needed to be done at weekends, I didnt do it, i wasnt paid for it so why should I.
We didnt laze about so if overtime was needed, we needed more staff to cope.

You can ask my wife how it changed me, from being on the verge of a heart attack to being happy and relaxed.

There is probably a more technical term for this but it worked for me.

Now its just the kids that drive me to drink and stress me out.

Also I have a booklet from the Police on Stress Management, if I can find it I will scan soem bits for you

Dont know what you do for a living sol, but i dont suppose you have an occupational health officer/visitor?
A chat with these people can be very useful, and your stress etc doesnt have to be work related

My ex used to have a mild form of depression, generally feeling very down, with low self esteem, her O/H officer was very helpful, giving advice on how to relax, even gave her CDs with the sound of the ocean etc. They are very understanding, well, it IS they're job i suppose lol
