    I keep suggesting that there be a vote over the 5 min edit button but they keep repeating the mantra that its not needed & other sites have it blah blah

    Just had a quick look over there, and it is now looking and functioning much better. Good job me thinks. (We're still sticking with this 3.7 a fair while yet mind)

    Talking of DPA issues, I see Gander isn't averse to bullying folks into revealing their true identities and other personal data to at least one DCA.

    Oh, aye. Big Brave Champion of the Masses backs down in the face of threats. :boink:

    Hmmm, well I guess most of the threads have been openly available for viewing on the worldwide web and;
    interested parties have already copied parts of same.

    However, it is mighty annoying that the original OP's are precluded from editing their own threads/posts!

    They won't remove them if it doesnt suit them. TBH I havent asked them to remove any of mine - and they renamed a few to look like a.n.other 'supermod' had posted them lol. Annoying but least the info is there to help people.

    Lots of forums have the edit button only visible for a certain time. Ours is 3 days. Some have only 5 mins. This is to prevent genuine posts being edited later to contain SPAM, or as Lug says stop people removing things after a fall out, or just stop Nattie putting ----------------------------- all over the place

    Goosey got a tad upset at PT removing a shedload of useful info.

    Which somewhat begs the question... who has copyright? The poster, or the forum?
    I removed a lot of my posts from Gag before I was blocked; basically because once I had decided to get out of there I did not want my personal information however vague left behind.

    Okay my posts were not in any way as valuable as PT's but I felt extremely uncomfortable leaving them on display at Gag given the alleged doubtful integrity of those who now appear to be running the site.

    I have since asked for the remainder to be removed or at least hidden, and they have refused my request.

    I cited DPA and they advised me I was misusing the act.

    The colour scheme is conducive to eye strain; I found after a very short time I was starting to blink a lot trying to stay focussed and had to come away.:shocked:

    is that what they're calling it, then?

    My theory is that I think that M.G. is setting CAG up to try to sell it off to some gullible fool......what a complete pigs arse he's made of that !!

    Some of us other rejects though, feel the need to keep having a pop at "da management".

    At least until they realise who I am anyway.
