Yeah, but newbies have all those lovely ads to click, where they can get their credit card debt wiped out, or get a loan at a very attractive rate with no credit checks. Absolutely no need whatsoever to get involved with posting their problems at all, cos the ads will solve all those problems.

I hate to say it, but I have something positive to say about it.

Auld Dr Fester Tester likes the new image uploader and viewer.

At least it's not criticising this forum. Which is nice.

With regards to MSE, they had an option to change back to their original version which I did simply because their change simply didn't work for me.
It's nice to know though, that I don't have to click onto CAG anymore to get their news here

Just a change to the default forum theme. Not a vBullitin upgrade.

I agree though. I hated it at first, but you get used to things. I tried using the old theme there the other day, and couldn't believe how god damn ugly that seems now.

The whole thing has been met with unanimous approval. Just take this glowing endorsement:

''It looks like one of those dodgy sites that has nothing but adverts and click throughs. Very off putting to a newbie. ''

But no worries as in the true CAG spirit site teamer sequenci promises that CAG will always listen to your views:

''Hey guys, really appreciate the input. I would imagine that the upgrade will continue to be work-in-progress, there have been some really good suggestions about tweaking it made. If anyone would like to add their suggestion please do chil in, afterall it's your forum too!

    Best wishes,

    Seq
    ''

    Or will it?

''Thanks for the comments so far, I can't read it at all at work anymore! No idea what's gone wrong there! arrgh!''

I had a good dig around vB 4 as we were thinking of moving, but decided against it.
Main reason, custom mods get all kinds of broked..
