It would be in order to correct/help another with their grammar or spelling if they were posting, say a witness statement or potential defence.

A misplaced comma, or a spelling error could in those circumstances make a difference to the meaning.

That sort of help should be sought and welcomed.

    Vdr

In 99% of cases very true.

The web is about communication. Or should be.

So all you newbies can now rest easy in the knowledge that you are considered to be "rejects". :tinysmile_twink_t2:

OK. If it was the website forum of the National Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation society, then fair enough.....

OTR and other similar forums are there to help on Consumer/debt/other issues.

Unless the content of a post makes things unclear, then who gives a whatever?

I post here and elsewhere to try and help people. No other reason.

i hope that this site can be more forgiving as spelling really is not my fault as to me the words look right when i read it back

Having read Bookworms latest offering I have to admit she does come over as a very nasty individual.

However to also stand by what I said earlier( to a certain extent), I think for someone to put that amount of effort and aggression into that type of post and indeed to even bother making them at all, there has to be something *bigger* underlying it and this is just an outlet for her anger.

Anyway I am taking the pledge now; I will never again post anything GAG related, unless of course it is to direct someone to something there that will help them.

Who else will take:beagle: the pledge now?
