Re: Fed up with the bickering

This recent debacle seems to show - yet again - that those who believe that size is everything are simply narcissistically obese. What good is a forum of 250,000 people, if only the loudest voices are heard ? The roar of a football crowd is an impressive thing to hear and feel - but it is quiet, unassuming quality that is needed in this game.

I'm surprised that huge red giant hasn't imploded under the force of its' own gravity, yet, but I guess it will happen soon, now. I am just pleased to see that those who have left the planet have not just disappeared into the vastness of space.

Just watch out for low-flying kryptonite for a while, PT !!!

LOL - Soz, Tools. A heady combination of astro-physics and AC Comix fuelled that smoke-filled post. Come join me on my planet, good sir. Take a blast on this, guv'nor - it's genuine 'T' - stamped produce....

And yet...despite all that....I still offer my respect to PT - or Clark Kent - if he hasn't managed to get outta the 'phone box, yet, bless 'im !!!

PS - My outrageous daughter suggests we try 'Bawbags.com' for some decent undies.

SOZ for the external links - but the red ones are really fetching, I'm told !!!

I just got CAGboted on the s31 thread just for mentioning that Paul was over here and spelled out the site name to avoid the lemon or orange thing.....the great thing was I received quite a few reputation points from folk who were trying to find out for that than anything I had posted before

Hey how about a transfer of those over here a bit like a no claims discount...lol

Re: Fed up with the bickering

Here's my little RANT now about OTR and tbh I just don't care if they attack me for it. Sorry, I know everyone there thinks I am some sort of devil incarnate, but ffs they are driving me mental. I posted the Opinion up, as it is FOR PUBLIC USE, minus all mention of LB, and now my account, 008139, has been misusered (server busy, blank pages , redirects to home page etc etc), moderated (can't post without approval and pm's removed) and my NOW my password has been changed so I cant even go in as a moderated misuser lol. I find that worse than the moderated and misusering tbh. How bloody ridiculous. I had a very nice chat with Bookworm about FROA which hopefully helped lots of people, and didnt post anything at all wrong (well not in my mind - maybe a reply to middenmiss about the PT situation could have been avoided) Stupid thing is they have left up the PDF version of the Opinion on the Sheriff Thread (which does have LB watermarked) and removed the plain text edit all mention of LB out version.

I seriously do give up trying to give them any info whatsoever, and yes I know I should have given up years ago !

                      GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Anyway now I posted this I expect the PDFs to vanish and some form of witchhunt to commence where somehow I enticed PT and all the debt / cca guys over here to help cast my evil spells - but seriously GET A GRIP.

Rant over. Going for a coffee and a cig.

Amethyst, we tried, we honestly tried to help get the most important thing across to them: INFORMATION, but they have an inherent ineptitude to really listen to the post and not simply look at the poster alone.
Why do some of us(mainly you) keep trying? Because you couldn't care less about who runs the site, who is in site team but who uses the site and getting them the help that they desperately need. Site team OTR have never got that desire or passion, the one that helps every user regardless of WHO they are, HOW they post or how ANGRY they are. I'm sorry Amethyst, I gave up after Yourbank was banned because I tried to get a discourse with them and they didn't want to listen. They still don't and I don't care anymore.
Cetelco once said here, they'll find themselves here eventually and sure enough some are finding their way here as they get no help OTR.(why the message is only just getting through is beyond me btw!!!).
I gave up with OTR because they couldn't look beyond the WHO rather than the WHAT. Good luck to them but Amethyst, just don't go back, it's time to realise that they don't care anymore.

we've been telling Ame that for years...she's just a masochist at heart lmao!

As far as green blobs and rep points goes, most of us over here don't give a stuff about them, if we get them, then fine, it's nice to be thanked and appreciated, but if not, then who cares......and it's better to give than to receive lol
                              Is no longer here
