  • Sueing manufacturers for beds breaking!

Right well after a friend had a nasty fall due to her bed giving way when she got on it, I have decided to investigate bed strengths.........

Has anyone else on here ever had a bed collapse purely under their weight??
No jumping up and down is counted!

    No adult fun either!

Just purely you, a partner and the family dog if you let him/her in the bed??
Is there a stronger than standard bed made for bed frame bucklers??

Are metal or wood framed beds stronger??

Does anyone sell a re-inforced bed so I can recommend it to my friend??

Can anyone lend me a crane to get her back up off the floor?????

I once had a pine slatted bed and stood on the bottom to reach something off the top of the wardrobe, and the last slat snapped in half [easily fixed tho].

But then again, a couple years later me and my then partner completely obliterated it but seeing as you said no adult fun, I'll tell you that it wasn't fun at all pmsl
