  • Tattoos - are they addictive

Right, for those of you that are inked members of the site, I wanted to do a little survey....

    Tattoo's, are they addictive?

I had my first one when I was 16 and have had one almost every year since (this is where I get busted for telling everyone I am 21) I now have 7. Each time I think of getting another, I promise myself that it will be the last but it never is, where will this end? My most recent addition put me off having anymore for all of three says and now I want another.....

Anyone else found this with tats or am I just into the pain?

Oh yes, very addictive. I had my first promising it would be my only one but I've had three now and I'm proud to say, none of them came out of the tattooists book. Wondering what to have next now.

Got a bit to go to catch up with the OH though, he's got 7 and has his next one lined up & ready.

Addictive? oh boy are they ever!

I wanted one at 16, everyone told me to think about it, so I did. As the age of 32 I decided that if I still wanted one after 16 years then I was never gonna change my mind.

So I went and had 2 done, then a couple of years later I went and had another 2 done.

One of the original ones needs a bit of a recolour and I am wanting another, well I do still have an empty arm!

Only problem with mine is that they are very very distinctive, in fact one of them, I know of only one other woman in the world that has one similar to mine in the same place (And mine is in full colour, her's is silhouette, and she is in the States!)

              Piccies please???
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Yeah, they're very addictive loulou. I'd wanted one since I was at school, but didn't know what I wanted, just knew I didn't want a cheesy cartoon one like all the other girls lol I took my time [seeing as I knew I'd have to live with it for the rest of my life] and knew i'd know what I wanted when i saw it, and when I was 24 I finally found what I wanted for my shoulder.

I wanted another one straight away, but again, didn't know what - trawled the internet for a couple years, and finally stumbled across my second tat for my back.

Now I really want a third, don't know where for tho - and again, I'll know what it is when I see it lol I don't want run of the mill tats that everyone has [although I was once really naughty and told a mate that I wanted a black panther on my arm, and a union jack on my boob cos I knew she'd always did or got what I wanted, and it ****ed me off lol ] it worked as well
