    I wasn't saying that the child of a LH father can't be LH themselves. According to the experts everyone has a roughly 10% chance of being LH regardless of parents, but its the mother that increases that possibility to something like 20%.
    The father's influence only seems to kick in if both parents are LH, and even then the odds only come out at about 40%, when logic suggests that it would be much higher. I don't recall anyone having any explanation for this, its just what the studies seem to suggest.

            I'm a leftie too, I write with my left hand but do everything else with my right. I did buy a pair of left handed scissors once......but could'nt use em lol

                  Kafka i was only saying she didnt get it from me, coincidentally my mother was a rightie and her youngest son was a lefty, and most of both sides of my family are righties.
                  In fact theres only been one lefty for generations!
                  I think the researchers should go back to the drawing board
