The near collapse of the Halifax Building Society last week has had a big effect on bespectacled employee Howard Thingy this week.
The employee who was plucked from the obscurity of cashiers desk to become a singing sensation for the many tedious advertisements has been reconsidering his position it was announced.
The options open to him, it is understood, is to continue with Lloyds TSB or appear in panto this year in Skegness.
Rumours that he was spotted on the Tube in London busking have been denied by his agent.
The other bloke who has been singing of late has other plans, it was revealed. This guy was seen recently on our screens singing 'Something Tells Me I'm Into Something Good' the old Hermans Hermits hit. It is believed the words will change to:
'Woke up this morning unemployed'
'Might get a job with TSB Lloyd'
'Then again I might end up in Pantomime'
'Something tells me I have been shafted good'
