  • Can you all do this please

Mr other half's daughter (my step daughter) writes poetry etc and has been entered into a competition, on Poetry.Com: Free Poetry Contest, Poems, Publishing .
Can you all please go on there and put in her name Lisa Skone, read the poem and then vote on it.

Her son (our grandson) was killed a couple of years ago on a quadbike just before his 18th birthday and she's had nothing but bad luck for a few years. It would be so good for something nice to happen to her.

    Thanks in advance

Ooooooh thanks guys, your stars. Yes she has loads more poems and if she wins this comp part of the prize is to have some published. She is also writing a book about hers and the families experiences around the time that Danny passed away. Like I said she hasn't had the easiest time of it really. Ever since she was 15 there's been some kind of upheaval or another, she's 38 now. She's got a beautiful daughter of 19 who has a daughter (our greatgrandaughter ooooh I'm so proud) of nearly 1, and a son of 15 who is not a bad kid at all. Oh and Lisa has a new boyfriend, whom we are meeting at the weekend, hope he's nice, so hopefully this will be the start of nice times for her.

                        Just voted, lovely poem.
I reminded of yesterday we have a vagrant who lives in our local shopping center he is well known and harmless. He had all his bedding in Somerfields doorway, which has recently shut. he has been there a while. Yesterday when we were parking up we noticed all his bedding had been thrown about and was wet through, I bet someone had a real laugh at that the B******S.

I won't be answering that on a serious thread. Just to let you know I will get you back at playtime.
