    Re: Mouse

    I'm surprised no one mentioned using a pussy!!!

    personally the old fashioned traps are the best and they don't cut their heads off BTW, well not normally. they can be modified i guess if that was the effect you're after, but then again you did say not.....the victim usually just ends up squashed....severely !!!!

    Anyway pussy gets my vote....

        Re: Mouse

        I found a mouse in our house today, in the most unusual place.

        There's been a loose electrical socket on the skirting board in the hallway for some time, which I've been meaning to fix.

        So out with the trusty screwdriver and removed the faceplate and to my amazement found a skeletal mouse inside the socket. It must have got in through the tiny gap around the cable and then electrified itself on the live terminal.

        So there you are Ame, just unscrew all your household sockets and wait for the smell of frying mouse.

            Neither a borrower nor a lender be;
            For loan oft loses both itself and friend,
            And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.

              pmsl.

              Well I gave up on daft humane traps and with kids out of way for week and me going out for a few days have left a nice number of trays of nasty evil poison about the house, Sorry and all that but I am finding it a tad difficult to sleep with mice nibbling my toes.

              Hopefully I won't come back to a house littered with deceased small mammals with red neckerchiefs, teeny cutlery strewn across the floor and suicide notes written in drooled blood.

              I think they might be coming from next door as its been empty for a couple months now and I am between that house and a lovely meadow full of rubbish.

                You may well come back to some dead bodies, we have a few times. Not to mention some twitching, half alive ones that got hurled.
