Vanquis DATA PROTECTION
Hi all,
I requested a SAR from Vanquis. I received the SAR and looked through the communications log. There is an entry indicated on 11/11/2009. Vanquis called my parents home, where I was residing at the time to discuss the account which was in arrears. However, my father, who has the same name as me took the call. The advisor did not ask any security questions and proceeded to discuss my account with my father.
It was not until my dad explained to the advisor that she was disclosing personal information to him and he was in actual fact not the account holder that she put the phone down rapidly.
This is recorded on the communication/activity log. What can i do about this breach of data?
