has anybody dealt with a complaint against an appointed representative firm and if so can you possibly advise me on which one I would put my complaint to, a) the appointed representative or the Principle company who holds the regulation and responsibility to ensure the Appointed Rep is operating with in the guidelines?
I'm told directly from the FCA that the principle is responsible for the AR but have not given the requested info in relation to who I would put a complaint to.
Its a very unusual set up and I imagine many ppl have been fooled by it. How would anybody who wasn't in their trade know the meaning of ; appointed representative?
It doesn't say it within the terms and agreements either which I really think it aught to.
If anybody has any knowledge on this I'd be most grateful if you could enlighten me?
