Hi there,
i am curious as to this wording on a lease company's t and c's:
By signing and returning the vehicle order you are accepting these terms and conditions and agreeing to order your vehicle in accordance with these terms and conditions and the conditions on the vehicle order. All orders are a legally binding contract. Sign only if you wish to be bound to the terms and conditions.
An order does not create a contract between you and (lease company). For a contract, (lease company) must locate you a vehicle which matches your chosen specification at a price acceptable to both you and (lease company).
Until you enter into a financial agreement with a finance company, there is no contract to hire a vehicle in force. This will only become in force on the signing of the finance contract by both yourself and the finance company. The finance company will notify all parties when the contract is in force.
So is there a contract or not with this lease company?
thanks
