Some may remember 2 years ago I had problems with a holiday that wasn't up to scratch, a Eurocamp van that Black Mould hidden in the curtains made it a miserable holiday for my wife. The compensation offer was derisory so started MCOL proceedings which were ignored. I think it was an office manager who thought that ignoring it would make it go away. We were banned.
Of late we have been getting brochures and emails to take holidays there again so we thought we had been forgiven but it looks like not. We booked today, taking them up on their offers, the booking was taken without problem and lo and behold a phone call 10 minutes later saying they had cancelled as that type of holiday wasn't suitable for us. Strange it takes 24 hours to refund the deposit money they took.
Ye gods, what does it take? Black mould in a caravan that makes a person ill for 3 weeks and they think that we weren't suitable for their type of holiday.
Any suggestions folks? We would like to go back to the area, it's lovely, and the company we used last year are no longer on the site.
