Hi!
I found this forum by mistake and I am curios to see if anyone can help me with my problem :

In June 2015 I applyed for an on line course with trades gateway. And just like the other ones I got a visit from an adviser. I did not realise what am I getting into and I sign all the papers.I start the first test and pay about 2 monthly payments. After a while I couldn't afort to pay and call them to cancel, but they said I can't becouse it allready passed 2 months. I don't want the course anymore and the finance company still call me and I don't know what to do!
Do you think I have a chance to cancel it?
Thanks!

Hiya

I've changed the title of your thread for clarity and I'll ask Amethyst to take a look when she has a minute.

In the meantime it would help if you could you post up the finance company agreement removing any personal details.

Were you aware that you were signing a credit agreement ? Was the course what you wanted ? Where there issues other than affordability with the course? Did the adviser go through any affordability checks with you?

My experience in documents as you see is not the greatest one.the day that the advisor came to my house it was like being under a spell. ..I mean the guy was really good in his job ..telling me
How good is going to be and all that. To be onest I didn't knew I have no chance to cancel that agreement after 14 days..He was telling me that if can't afford it anymore. .trades gateway will pay it or something like this. Anyway. .He gave me the impression that is not a big deal and I am a very lucky guy

I really hope so.

Did the adviser go throguh affordability checks with you - run a credit reference check etc ? What was your financial position - working ?

Also did the adviser come twice, second time with the finance agreement?

His first visit was to tell me about the course and to take some details. After. .He told me that if I qoulyfi he will call for the second one.He did call me and said he will come to my house for the second meeting. Than he run a credit cheek by taking my card details and my last payslip (I was working to an agency as a fitter.).After he congratulate me saying I qualify and show me the documents that he had ..cds. .and he got me in signing the agreement

May I have your permission to copy the documents you have sent to me to the FCA as part of a complaint about TG ?
