Hi
I have handed my vw touran back to the finance company after coming to the end of the 3 years I had to pay before paying a lump sum to buy it.
We decided we didn't want to buy it, tried to sell but noone interested and so informed vw who sent an inspector out to check over the car.
The is a couple of minor scratches, the compressor for the tyres is missing (never had it in the car) and 2 of the alloys have scratches on. All in all they have said the bill for handing it back is £838!!!
We never miss a payment on the car and it is well looked after. I am cross that they are trying to force me to pay for slight damage in a 5 year old car when we are the 3rd owners.
I didn't sign anything but any advice on where I go from here?
