Re: Need to sue my local authority for various reasons???
Hi all i am going to try and upload the Ombudsman draught decision and answer your questions. Oooops cant seem to do it? I have emailed kati@legalbeagles.info for help. hopefully i can get it on later?
to answer some questions the bailiffs came on the day, no notice of this visit was received. the first we knew of the visit was when he knocked on the door, the car was already clamped when he knocked, he was informed that my daughter was off work long term sick with mental health problems, his response was " not my problem". My daughter asked if they could come to a payment arrangement and was told no, the full amount of around £3,000 had to be paid that day. They were asked to remove the clamp and said no, there was a disturbance with my neighbors and the bailiff said he felt threatened by myself and my daughter and called the police. i did get annoyed with him but i told him he should remove the clamp before i got back as i needed to go out . When i got back home the police were at my house, the police told me i would be arrested if i tried to interfere with the clamp. My daughter was nothing but polite and helpful to him when trying to organize some kind of payment. We also have some CCTV footage of the whole incident. Hope this helps with some of the questions? I have a blue badge on my car, but my doesnt have a blue badge as her condition is not physical. Thanks very much.
