    Hi I was looking for some advise my work has underpaid me and are saying it's due to me handing in a time sheet before I had went on holiday they lost the time sheet I handed in so haven't paid Me through there mistake I have told my employer and he just wasn't interested so I wrote a letter telling him about my wage and left a date for them to pay me buy he looked at me and said a union rep or citizen advise won't be able to help you there kid on threats so then I had explained that I need to take it further because I am part time and have a little boy to provide for this is nearly 200 pound the ow me but they keep saying next month and I told them I can't wait that long as I have bills go pay but there have stuck to there guns and said I won't be paid can someone give me more advise I actually do have bills to pay and I can't afford to go to my work because I have no money left to get bus pass or anything like that. Please help

      Hi and welcome.
      Whilst you will have our sympathies I doubt there is actually much you can do, as any legal action will take months.
      The problem is your employers, but he could be reluctant to correct the error immediately as it costs.
      Any decent employer would give you an interest free loan which would be sorted out when the subsequent pay date arrives.
      I suppose technically you could take a commercial loan of some sort, and charge the costs to your employer on the basis they were due to his breaching your contract of employment.
      You could put the options to him and see if he becomes more amenable.
