Re: Who to complain to?
Thanks all
Two of the cancellations had nothing whatsoever to do with CAB , they were made by someone on behalf of him . At least two people at CAB , one of them being the manager were under the impression that he is a solicitor. I will take that up with CAB
As for the barrister part, there is a disclaimer in very small writing but even if you accept that as being enough and I guess it probably is, the line as Amethyst pointed out
under a picture of him is IMHO very misleading.
Although I am not sure I would imagine that if you were a non practicing barrister who did not pay your fees you would not appear on the register, same with a non practising solicitor .
I think it is the lack of professionalism from someone who is aiming to make a living from potentially very vulnerable people that really does appall me.
I have several irons in the fire so to speak with the PIP appeal etc and there is the Birmingham Law Centre if it does go to upper tier but someone local would have been excellent , also as i said i would willingly have parted with what could easily have been £1250 if it had saved me the stress anxiety and hassle of fighting these bar stewards.
One of the major problems with PIP is that when you have someone doing things for you such as making simple decisions such as what to eat , you do not realise just how much you rely on them .

Darren, being called to the Bar of England and Wales and being published as a barrister by the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, one of the four Inns of Court, in London*.
