      from what I can make out, the 'bedroom tax' makes it so two children of the same sex up to the age of 16 will be expected to share a room, or two children (either sex) under the age of 10 ... that being said; I wouldn't want my (different sexed) children sharing a room after the age of about 4 or 5 max

        I'd hazard a guess that my local MP will be supporting yours on that.


        The basic rules are that one bedroom is allowed for each of the following:

        A couple
        A single adult
        A child over the age of 16
        2 children of the same sex under the age of 16
        2 children of either sex under the age of 10
        ooo I wonder if I can get bumped up to a four bed next month then (I don't actually think there are any round here)

          nowadays (round here at least) the waiting list for social housing is so long you're lucky if you have to wait 10yrs

            It's Nearly impossible to get true lifelong social housing now. Very sad .
