  • mis sold holiday

A friend of mine is disabled - she went to Thomas Cook and booked a holiday to Egypt and paid for it. Her friend has just come back from the same place and informed her the holiday would be no good as it is for young couples and there is no assistance for disabled people which is noted on the website. She contacted Thomas Cook and they said this does not mention this in their brochure. She asked if she could change holiday to go somewhere else and has been told she would incurr another £50.00 admin charge. This to me seems wrong as this should have been picked up by Thomas Cook and the information should have been put in the brochure - even more so the advisor should not have known not to book to someone in her state
