I didn't know where to put this but I was so annoyed at this continual tinkering with our credit ratings and a letter telling me Santander would inform their credit reference agency because basically I haven't paid charges due to hardship, I've put this letter together and it may useful to someone else:
Dear Santander
Please note paragraph highlighted in copy of letter sent to me.
Please clarify why you are reporting my account to a credit reference agency when the account is not in default (copy also enclosed).
If it is due to any charges against this account I object to this as not only have you willingly agreed to treat my account in a fair and proper manner pertaining to informing you of a period of hardship, but as it is my right to contest the amount of any charges, it is therefore unclear as to whether they are owed in their current form or not and should not be used to affect my credit rating in a negative way.
I object to any alterations by Santander based on the above against my credit rating.
Copy to the Fiancial Ombudsman Service.
