Forum Upgrade Discussion...
Dear All,
We are going to undertake some maintenance on the forum which will require the website to be turned off for, probably, most of the day on Sunday. Sunday is normally our quietest day, and tbh we're just too old and tired to stay up all night to get it done between 11pm and 7am like we used to.
When we come back we will be on a better version of the software the site runs on.
There WILL be issues and differences, and it will take a little getting used to, but I have slowly been changing things around on here ( bet you haven't noticed
) so that it's not quite such a shock when we upgrade. We're pretty chuffed how the new site will look and work, so fingers crossed, everyone will love it 
!
So we're aiming to switch off at 10am ( Need breakfast first!) and fingers crossed it'll take 3/4 hours to get back up with the basics in place - then another few hours for the 'faff' ( the most important stuff ) like chatbox for VIPs and so on.
SO please bear with us, and I'll do a thread on Monday for 'gripes' ( and compliments ? )
It will make us much MUCH easier to use on mobile/tablet ( no more losing search ability or overlapping menus )
You'll probably have to refresh your cache after the upgrade - and any problems, we'll keep things updated on Facebook and Twitter
Sorry for the inconvenience, it'll all be worthwhile in the end.... honestly xxx
