  • August bank holiday should be renamed 'Britishness Day', says minister

The August Bank Holiday should be renamed 'Britishness Day' and should be a celebration of everything we love about the country.

What's wrong with celebrating St George's Day? Probably because it's too "English" as opposed to being "British."

What exactly are we supposed to love about this country and why should we celebrate it?

Labour have done everything in their power to erode Britain's past, the history, the laws, the customs to name a few, yet now they think by simply renaming a bank holiday that that will fix everything.

Britishness ? ffs get a grip.....who was it did a thread about what we actually love about this country ? wasnt a very long one. Why is it only the English who seem to want to pretend they aren't who they are. That minister should spend time on things that actually matter. Is it the immigration minister came up with the idea ?
