Bank Holiday crowds flock to the beach for the hottest day of the year

Britain sizzled today as the country enjoyed the hottest day of the year ? warmer than parts the Mediterranean. As temperatures soared to 23C thousands flocked to the coast to make the most of the Bank Holiday sun. But the RAC said 18million hit the roads ? meaning many of us were stuck in slow moving traffic
