Did anyone catch yesterday's Moneybox programme about Credit Reference Agencies? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programme...ox/7338782.stm
I've been asked by the producer to expand on a question I put. I basically asked if they (the CRA's) could comment on the possibility that when a consumer requests their credit report, in some cases this seems to act as a trigger for waking up the sleeping dogs of the DCA's and a sudden flurry of finance related junk mail and cold calls.
It wasn't asked on the programme, but the producer seems intrigued by the question.
If anybody has experience of this, and wouldn't mind me forwarding their comments on to the producer, could you email me at wordpress@coveritup.co.uk please?
If I get any feedback from it, I'll let you know.
