Dear All,
First off we want to say a massive thank you to all of you who have taken the time to contribute and help out others on the forum. You’re the unsung heroes on the site and we really can’t thank you enough.
2015 has been another super-busy year. We’ve welcomed a record 20,000 new members (up from 14,000 last year) and have had well over 2 million unique visitors browsing the site.
We (and many of you!) have been particularly busy assisting people in the Received A Court Claim?, Parking Charges and Employment forums and we’ve seen a marked increase in activity in Scams, Fraud & IT.
There have been countless successes across the board but as a team our biggest achievement must be dealing with the scores of victims facing legal action from misleading passport websites, resulting in a 100% win rate. We gained significant national media coverage of the issue on Radio 4 and in the Mail on Sunday and working with Trading Standards and other authorities we played a big part in collating the evidence which resulted in the arrest of 4 people and the seizure of the company’s assets.
Looking forward to 2016, one thing we’re not too happy about are the significant increases in court fees for defendants being planned ( rising from £155 to £255 for an application ) and we’d be grateful if you’d sign our petition opposing them.
On the bright side we have some big and exciting plans for early in the new year and we’ll let you know exactly what they are very soon – small hint > LBcompare
Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2016.
with love
Kate, Nick, Sharon, Jules, Diane, Kati & Paul.
