    I think apart from the 2000 job losses, the upsetting part is many a village and town have lost businesses and were beaten down when they protested about Tesco moving in.
    Too big fer their boots comes to mind, plus plain greed and lack of consumer care, hope this is a lesson to other retailers who want to rule the world.

        We've got an Asda and Morrissons (across the road from each other) in one direction and Aldi, Iceland, Lidl, Sainsburys and Tesco (Aldi and Iceland next door to each other, the other three all close together too) within 30 minutes walk of the house. Tesco and Asda both have a 'free bus' service running every 15 minutes from the bus station too. :tinysmile_aha_t:

        And no our Tesco isn't one of those closing!
        Debt is like any other trap, easy enough to get into, but hard enough to get out of.
