    Giant credit reference agency Experian's been flogging its costly and often unnecessary CreditExpert 'credit monitoring' services in recent years, and boosting the price it charges with the addition of ID fraud insurance, yet we believe the way it did it was unfair, and you should ask to get, what could be £200+ back.

    Looks as if Experian are now paying people out on these reclaims,

    Ostensibly as "gestures of goodwill" but in reality it seems as they do not want to get adverse adjudications or final decisions from the FOS, as the FOS has indicated to some that they are minded to decide that way.

    So if this applies to you then get on and complain, and push it on to the FOS if Experian refuse a refund.
