I do not condone violence but I can see how things can get out of control and I do think we will see more incidents like this. I also do not know the whole story here but from reading other posts and threads we know that a lot of people are being bullied and harassed by aggressive debt collectors and bailiffs despite the fact that we are constantly being told new legislation has ‘curbed ‘ the behaviour of the more enthusiastic agents.
Ms. Cave may have been behaving in a professional and courteous manner however she did clamp a car that was not his property and Judge Beverley Lunt’s comment “The car was not in need of immediate protection as he had four hours to pay’ Is ridiculous- Why should he pay to have his Mother’s car unclamped! OK he should not have cut the clamp off but Ms. Cave should not be able to simply turn up at someone’s house and clamp any vehicle that happens to be parked outside it. Also if He was using aggressive language when she first went to the house why did she go back?
If he did push her etc. he was wrong but I think we all know that someday this lady might just clamp an unhinged persons car and I wonder just how long it will be before someone gets seriously hurt.

An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good'!
