It is the Legal Ombudsman and NOT the FOS who will be looking at cases where clients of CMC's will be able to apply for compensation if they find that the CMC have wronged them as a client. The MOJ are passing on the fees that they will be paying LEo on to the CMC's in their new fees plan to incorporate the Legal Ombudsman in taking up cases. Funny, I posted this up today in The Debt and Claims Management section regarding fee increases and how that was going to be dealt with.

All I know LEo is the Legal Ombudsman dealing in certain redress in pacific areas like CMC's and Legal. FOS deal in a broader spectrum and dont currently deal with CMC's complaints or redress.
