  • Emma Harrison interview

Great Channel 4 News exclusive interview with the useless A4E's Emma Harrison.

How this woman's company was capable of securing millions of pounds of government contracts for the Work Programme is beyond me. As is demonstrated in the video, she couldn't run a bath.

    Re: Emma Harrison interview

I'm afraid this is true of a lot of private-sector companies who have gotten fat on taxpayers' money as a result of Conservative and New Labour politicians prostituting themselves to the idea of privatising everything in sight. I saw evidence of this first-hand when I was a CID and uniformed officer with the MoD Police. One firm defrauded the taxpayer of £950,000 before we were called in to investigate. One Thursday lunchtime, we hit the sites the firm was working at simultaneously, as well as their offices. The reality is that privatisation is actually more expensive and results in poorer-quality service than if public services remained under public-sector control and financing.
Life is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.
