I was so concerned as my son lives in Shanghai only 1000 miles away, but he said nothing was felt where he lives and knew nothing about it.

What is a huge concern is the nuclear plants, I fear for so many people who live nearest them.

Second reactor at the Fukushima plant is not cooling and reports say it could explode.

All their wealth and technology couldn't save them from this horrible natural disaster and it may be technology re the nuclear element that may make things a whole lot worse.
The numbers they are quoting now a too great to comprehend and as just said they don't think they will ever know just how many lives have been taken.
Very upsetting and when you think this is all done by nature why the hell do we have wars.

Just heard of a miraculous suvivor story on the news that a man was saved he had floated 9 miles out at sea on his roof for 2 days.

Nice to see the border collies of the UK search and rescue team doing there work, but a little sad to hear that one of them sustained a gash on one of its legs while searching through the wreckage.

No vets available so had to be stiched up by a doctor then carried on with its search duties.

Amazing animals to watch though.
