    Banks lose customers over security

    http://www.dailyfinance.co.uk/2010/1...over-security/

A survey from Web security company Imperva and Unisys suggests that as many as one in 10 customers may be deserting their bank or retailer over concerns about security. 85% of us are apparently worried about identity theft and will leave a supplier that seems to be taking risks.

There's no doubt ID fraud is a serious issue now. What a shame only 10% actually vote with their feet and go elsewhere.

I have to say, I'm with the co-op. I've read terrible reviews of them, but with us they have been nothing short of superb. I did once get niggled when they refused a transaction on my debit card, but the shop let me phone and it turned out that as my card had taken quite a knock that day they thought it may be being used fraudulently. They apologised, I accepted it and said thanks for keeping an eye on my money then bought what I wanted.

I wonder which banks have the best / worst security records. It would be interesting to hear others views / experiences.
