HM Revenue & Customs is urging all mothers to get a move on and renew their tax credits by no later than 31 July, otherwise their payments could stop.

HMRC's Sara Gaines, said: 'We'd urge mums to renew their tax credits claim as soon as possible, so it's all sorted before the busy summer holidays.
So don't leave it until the last minute, renew your claim now.'
Mums who haven't yet renewed their claim will need to check their 2008/09 award statement.
This is part of the renewals pack they should now have received from HM Revenue & Customs and then let them know of any changes in their circumstances, such as their working hours or pay or childcare details.
Once a claim has been renewed parents need to let HMRC know about any subsequent changes in personal circumstances as soon as they happen.
Tax credits are available if you are a low earner, are disabled or have children – they currently benefit around 6m families in the UK.
If you are responsible for at least one child or young person who normally lives with you, you may qualify for, the Child Tax Credit.
How much you will receive will depend upon your personal circumstances and income.
For further information about claiming tax credits go to HMRC's website or telephone the tax credits helpline on 0845 300 3900, between 8.00am to 8.00pm, seven days a week.
