See here Parking and clamping etc - Legal Beagles the British Parking Association has no force in law and if fees are unreasonable, they can be challenged in court.

I am aware that they can be challenged - Problem is that won't help those motorists caught by them. - Now with the backing of their so called regulator they will demand even more before they will release the vehicle & many will be forced to pay it simply because they have lives they need to get on with
