I can only sympathise with you. When there is a death in the family it seems to bring out the best and worst in people, usually the ones nearest and dearest to you.
For my part my mother was in hospital dying, I could not get an answer on her phone. A week later my sister rang to let me know mum was in hospital, my mother passed away a couple of weeks after that.
I now find out that my sister had raided my mothers bank account whilst she lay dying: a little over £29000. and conveniently lost all the statements. The DWP recovery from estates brought this to light. I am now dealing with the fallout.
