  • Value of Estate property

    Good Afternoon

I hope someone can help with my question

I would like to buy my two siblings share of my Late Fathers Estate and need a mortgage, he died in 2016 and at that time the property was valued at £135,000 and todays market estimate is £155,000
Would their share be based on the valuation at the time of his death or todays value?

      Current market value.

Look at it another way: You want to buy. Why should they want to sell for anything less than the thing is worth? Remember that a sale is a transaction agreed by both parties.
