Executor of Estate moving into property

Hi, I am Executor of my late parents estate, and beneficiary of 66% of the estate which is their house which is currently up for sale, as it has been for sale since Jan ‘24 and is falling into disrepair after being empty for 5 years, I would like to move in to carry out repairs and protect it from further acts of vandalism,
my question is would this be legal for me to do so ?

There would be nothing unlawful about this. Has the other beneficiary been consulted?

When did you obtain probate for your mother's estate?
5 years is a long time for a property to be empty. Who has been paying the council tax, utility bills, insurance?
If you have paid them as executor, where did the money come from?
Was your mother the sole owner of the house and did she leave 100% of the property to you?

You stated then that your mother had left you 50% of her estate and excluded your other siblings
Who did she leave the other half of her estate to?

Have you calculated 66% of their estate by adding 50% of your father's estate divided by 3 = 16.66% to 50% of your mother's estate?
