apologies for posting this in wrong thread originally
Dear All,
After a very long 2 years of trying to sort our my parents wills and probate and despite spending considerable amounts of money we have not really progressed any further. I am going back to the beginning to see if there is something 'simple' we may have missed and all this before the inevitable court proceedings are entered - we just cannot get any form of response from my sibling who is unhappy with the will and her husband is executor so I want to check that everything has been ticked along the way.
So, my question is - if my sibling has an issue with the will Im assuming they will have issued a caveat against the will being formalised. If this is the case, will there be a record lodged somewhere officially that I can see and check the details - trying to do more research before going back to our solicitors ?
Thanks as always

Apologies I missed you had replied - the probate for my fathers will has not been submitted - he died in June 2021.

You should ask executor sibling #1 if the probate application has been submitted, and if so, when
Executors are informed by the probate registry when caveats are filed holding up the application
