My now husband wrote his will prior to us getting married, will it be null and void if still in my maiden name?

Marriage generally makes Wills invalid and new Wills are needed.

Although wills clearly made in contemplation of marriage are not revoked by the marriage. See s18(4) Wills Ct 1837: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga.../26/section/18
The use of the maiden name will not be a problem.Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
