  • Stolen shares from a beneficiary from other beneficiaries

Hi I'm a beneficiarie of my father's estate along with 2 sisters. Apart of the estate was a shareholding in a company. The company wasn't worth much but was bought out by a bigger company. My sister has taken upon herself to manage the shares and not communicate with us the other equal beneficiaries
the estate has closed and the executor wiped his hands off it. I researched the company and found out fividends have been distributed and my sist we t is hiding them. What's the cheapest way to get my shares put into my name ?

What was sold - the company or its business? You really need to gather information and try to find out what happened. You could start by looking at the records for this company on Companies House website.

If the company was sold then in all likelihood the shares have been sold, and your claim is for a share of the sale proceeds.

If the company sold its business, then payment probably went to the company, and you need to investigate whether the sale money has been distributed and if so how.
