  • Executor action for will with lifetime property trust

My father recently passed away and my brother and I are executors for his will as well as trustees. In the will he stated that his share of the house should be held in trust by me and my brother with our mother having the use of it. When she dies the trust ends and it passes to four named beneficiaries.

Could someone explain what action we need to take now? Do we simply need to register this with the land registry or are there other legal actions required that we would need a solicitor for?

There are several actions required. Whether you can afford to delay long enough to avoid the need for a solicitor is a question for the circumstances.
