  • Administrator Totally Dishonest

I have just found out that the Administrator of a large Estate (1.6 Million) and spouse of the deceased has decided with one of the three other beneficiary's to take out a mortgage against the estate after the deceased died.

It then transpired a few years later that the deceased died intestate even though the two other beneficiary's where lead to believe the deceased had a will?

A mortgage was taken out in the deceased's name and the administrator has continued to use the deceased bank account to make monthly payments towards the mortgage, the deceased died in 2018..

As one of the beneficiary's I am beginning to find out that the Administrator has been very dishonest and the more I dig the more I am getting worried where this is going to lead.

Where do I start..? the Administrator refuses to speak or correspond with me?

Take direct legal advice. In essence, you sue.

Absolutely. This type of situation requires good quality legal advice, if any effective action is to be taken.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
