    My father died in December 2021, probate has still not been granted is this usual?

    Has Probate been applied for?

    Did your father leave a will? If so, who are the executors? Have you asked them what the problem is?

      He did leave a will. I am seeking compensation under the act 1975.

        Please be aware that the limitation period for Inheritance Act claims is that court action must be started within 6 months after the date of the grant of Probate.

          I have a overseas trust payment authority form to fill in but I have no passport or drivers licence is there another form of I'd that will be excepted as my family are going g to the lawyer on Monday I can get a citizen card in 2 day if I apply tomorrow
