  • Executor issues

A friend has taken over as Executor of an Estate (long story) information is needed from a Council, 2 firms of Solicitors and an Estate Agent to value the Estate for Probate. All of these organisations are being obstructive and are refusing to send the required information.

It is a long story and very acrimonious.

Any thoughts on any levellers that can be applied in order to obtain the information that is required in order to value the Estate?

Obviously relevant Ombudsman, SRA if they continue in their refusal to handover the information.

This said any thoughts on an quicker levers that can be applied would be very helpful.

He needs none of those. He simply gets the house valued independantly.
