Grant of Probate Stopped by a Caveat

Ah right, so he never entered an Appearance by the sound of it.

He entered a Summons for Directions and then I heard no more.

So the Probate probably put him right about his claim.
if I am not mistaken, isnt it just the Caveator who can enter a summons for directions where as the Executor has to just keep accruing the legal fees. There is something wrong somewhere.

yes that’s it in a nutshell basically. However, when I distributed the Estate I deducted all the legal fees from his share and explained on the accounts why I did so.
