  • Can an executor be contacted to find out the contents of a will?

    Hello all,

My aunt died recently, Is it possible to contact her solicitor to find out if I'm included in the will. I am aware there is a standard protocol for beneficiaries to be notified...I want to know if it is possible to know before the official notification.

    Thanks. Jonathan.

Her solicitors would not give out that information if they are executors. The only way to see a copy of the Will is after Probate has been Granted, when a copy will be available for anyone to see. However, by that time you should have been notified.

I see you asked a very similar question yesterday on the same issue. It is best to keep to your first question and delete this one,
